An Indigenous Artisans Pop-Up Market is coming to Hope's Free Rein building in honour and celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21, 2022

Shop from local Indigenous Artisans, learn about Indigenous culture, and discover local resources at the Reins of Freedom Indigenous Artisans Pop-up market!

In celebration and honour of National Indigenous Day, Reins of Freedom is hosting an Indigenous Artisans Market on June 21 from 10am - 2pm. Stop on by 895A Third Avenue to meet and shop from the following Indigenous artisans:

  • Marilyn Dalton: Beadwork and jewelry

  • Blue Owl Indigenous Craft Company: Leatherwork, drums, rattles and more

  • Smoked Salmon Sales: Smoked salmon

  • Residential School Survivors Society

  • Harvey Robinson: Cultural display and regalia

  • Robert Armstrong: Our Indigenous Elder with a cultural display

  • Caitlin Crittenden: Face painting

  • Read Right Society

There will be an opening song with drumming from Shane John and David Guiterriez at 10am. Face painting and colouring pages will be available for kids.
